Internships (Return to Internships)
Our Summer Interns' Experience ...
I was a software engineering student with very little knowledge of marketing when I first joined P&G as a marketing intern. However, I was given a substantial and hands-on project which required working with the multi-functional teams within the company, the agencies, vendors and even P&G Japan, India and Australia! The project was quite challenging but I was pleased that the internship actually gives you a realistic feel of what it would be like to do marketing. It was definitely not just another way of spending your summer hols!
Thanks!

I worked on India laundry business for my internship where I worked on designing the marketing strategy for Ariel sachets. Internship at P&G was a lot of hard work and loads of fun. What really amazed me at P&G was its culture. I could just walk up to anyone’s (even the most senior managers!) desk and always found people willing to help.
Summer projects at P&G are serious business! I realize that now when I have come back on the same brand and am actually seeing my summer project recommendations go into execution! You are not treated as summer interns here - it’s like you are an employee of the firm. The same respect and the same responsibility- its awesome!
All in all, experience of a lifetime!

I interned with P&G last year, between April and June, and my assignment was on Pantene. The one thing that really stands out about a P&G internship is the degree of importance attached to every internship project here – the program is so obviously well thought out, and the work is so obviously important for the company, that even as an intern, I felt a huge sense of responsibility towards the company to execute the project well. The knowledge that the project I was working on was current, and was one that had real implications for the company’s business really impressed me - especially after I heard many of my batch mates complain about the kind of projects they had to work on during their internships with other companies.
Apart from the work itself though, it was the people in my team that really made the internship so great for me, and helped me decide on P&G over other employers – they really made me feel like part of a group, and were always ready to help out with any difficulties I faced – and they were the ones who really left me feeling that I would unhesitatingly accept if P&G offered me a job.

I had a chance to be an intern with P&G from April to June 2004. I was appointed to do productivity analysis and EIPP project in SCSC. It was a fantastic period as I learnt a lot from my supervisor – Michelle Le, Alex Lew and other P&Gers. Although the internship was not long, I recognized that P&G has the best corporate culture compared to other companies. In addition, people here are intelligent and very helpful. I am a full-time employee in P&G now, and I never regret my decision. P&G is a great place to work and to build our career.
