Starting Point: Your ER career path begins with entry into ER, which can occur through external hiring or internal transfer, is normally at the Associate or Specialist level, but could occur at higher levels based on your experience and the business need.
Who we need: To be considered for a career in ER, a successful candidate can come from a wide range of educational backgrounds, including degrees in journalism, business, economics, languages, political science, science/engineering and many others.
Candidates will have the following qualifications:
- demonstrated leadership ability
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- strong analytical and strategic thinking ability, combined with sound judgment
- proven creativity in leveraging opportunities and solving problems
- demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- substantive course work or work-related experience in public relations, issues management, media relations, government relations, the news media or technical communication to the public.
