Working in Human Resources is very interesting and rewarding. As a Recruiting Manager in P&G Egypt, I am responsible for identifying and selecting the highest caliber students and fresh graduates of diverse universities who have the right combination of qualities that would mark them as winners, to become P&G future leaders. My job is divided between setting P&G recruiting strategies across all departments, improving the efficiency of P&G recruiting system and interacting with students on different campuses to attract them to P&G.

What I find the most interesting and rewarding is meeting with students. In trying to bring P&G close to them and thus to attract them to join our company, I involve other P&G employees from different departments to join on campus activities thus giving students a clearer idea of what it is like to work in P&G. This is a very unique, dynamic experience where I meet different people of different backgrounds. On the other hand I get the chance to work across all functions within P&G.

The best thing I like about HR in general is that it gives the chance to add something to people’s lives. Even in recruiting for example, when a student is offered a job in P&G, it is not just a job, but rather a long term partnership, often a lifetime career. I believe it takes a lot of passion to make a difference to be able to make it in HR!
