"It's challenging to work in an environment in which people are driven to succeed. I find it very motivating because I expect the same from myself and those I work with." For me, Marketing is all about understanding the way people live. We have a motto, which says “Consumer is a Boss”. If we understand their lifestyles, we can anticipate their needs. P&G's purpose is, after all, 'to improve lives of world-wide consumers'! I think my most challenging work to date was developing a five year business plan for the future Tampax in Central & Eastern Europe. It was exciting as we had to deliver a real breakthrough for Tampax business. Currently I am responsible for the Baby care and Feminine Care business in Central Asia. The key opportunity for the growth is through the habit change via conversion into disposable products usage. This means working closely with research and advertising agencies as well as strategic work on how to move the business forward. In Marketing we deal with almost all departments in the company such as sales, product supply, finance, external relations and consumer knowledge departments. I really enjoy working on multinational and multifunctional teams and my role within these teams is to focus on projects that I expect will have the most significant impact on the business. The key attributes to be successful in such an environment are strong leadership, effective team work and collaboration.
