I joined P&G and was immediately re-located to Almaty office for training and getting experiences, as our office in Mongolia was very new and young at that time. After 4 months in Almaty, working within the great team of talented and high profile people, and getting understanding of the basics of P&G business and P&G behavior, I returned to my home country fueled with the great enthusiasm and a plenty of ideas. My first assignment in Mongolia was OSDO. Conditions in the bazaars were tough, but work was challenging, as you see fruits of your work day-to-day, and the volume of your business increased 3 times during a year period. On parallel, other additional assignments followed, including settling new businesses in the regions, developing top stores, designing and implementing sales support activities, and even responsibility for the completely different area of supplying the whole Mongolia market with the P&G products. P&G is a great and fair company which recognizes personal achievements, and promotes from the within. In 1 year and 8 months I was promoted to CBD Unit Manager, and 2 months later I was assigned to lead the P&G business in Mongolia. In my current role I found an opportunity to build on all knowledge that I’ve acquired both in University and my previous assignments within P&G. Working with my CBD team in Ulaanbaatar, as well as with other functional departments located in the Central Asia Headquarter in Almaty, I’m involved in many areas of business management, including sales, customer marketing, product supply, finance, human resources, and even IT. It’s really exciting, when you recently earned a MBA degree, and in 2 years own the real world-class business with the multiple tasks. I strongly believe that its possible only in such a challenging company as P&G is.
