Imagine your first day in the company when right away you need to go to a business trip to another city! The first day I joined Procter & Gamble I was sent to Tashkent to a business trip. The purpose of the trip was to meet the people working in Tashkent office and to learn the business. Although it was planned that I would be in Tashkent not longer than three days, the trip actually extended to a month. It all happened due to the simple reason that the person working in Tashkent office had an urgent need to go to Germany for training. In three days I was supposed to completely get familiarized with his work and to become a full substitution for the month. All this was complicated by the fact that I only had three sets of shirts and underwear with me! It is natural that I was lost and didn’t know where to start from… However, all my worries were for nothing – the training plan that my manager developed allowed me to learn how to plan orders fast and effectively, thus I successfully handled my task. Five years have passed since then and during this time I worked on three different functions, which gave me extensive knowledge of business and of people. And the most amazing is that my interest to work in Procter & Gamble and to my colleagues is not going down. Every day I come to the office full of enthusiasm!
