Ever since I was born I have always thought differently than other people. I never liked to do something because someone told me too. I simply live by the rule: “Be convincing or Get convinced” and this is what happens at P&G. Over the years I have learnt and strongly believe in the phrase that experience does not come with age, it comes with exposure. And at P&G you get a ton of exposure. I have always wanted to face challenges and explore new horizons. For this reason I deliberately deviated from a certain career path I had chosen earlier, to simply broaden horizons - and P&G's culture has helped me in doing so. When you work in P&G, you can be sure that the people you work with are extremely dynamic and capable people who have a lot to share. The flexibility at P&G ensures that together i.e. the employee and P&G, should develop strengths and discover hidden talents along the way. The exceptional on-the-job coaching and excellent training and development programs locally and internationally are something to look forward to. Working with P&G gives you several privileges. It is ranked as one of the best companies in the world, its an amazing learning experience and it looks beyond the academic achievements to judge what a person is capable of. When I looked at the Success Actions for Winning (SAWS) I was surprised to find risk taking a part of it. All my life I have favoured informed risk taking, and people thought it was insane. Then I found this company that is encouraging people to take well-balanced risks. Very simply put, if you want to be the best and reach the top, the traits that are required and the training & development that is needed, is part of the P&G culture and system. P&G encourages people to challenge obstacles, to explore new horizons. They want people who are realistic optimists and constantly develop and explore new concepts, ideas and thoughts. They actually disregard conventional thinking and encourage people to come up with creative and innovative solutions based on logic and intuition. The best part is everyday when I wakeup - I am excited to come to P&G. And so is everyone else!
