I started with P&G in Pakistan over 2 year ago in Product Supply. I was hired in the capacity of Logistics Engineer based at the Plant responsible for the Plant Supply Chain. Initially I was taken through some small assignments but as time passed, I started facing many challenges and within six months I was doing more than I had ever expected. I was given the responsibility at the plant of looking after the Materials Management Organization (MMO) and to manage Supply planning, warehousing, exports and initiatives. In simple words I became the business contact between plant and the Head office, which in fact provided me with great opportunities and a sense of empowerment. With somewhat mixed feelings I went ON and ON everyday with tough goals to meet and exceed and long hours to work. But always, my day ended with a sense of satisfaction. One great thing about P&G is that the Company trusts its employee’s capabilities fully, takes a risk with its people and provides an open field to play in independently that gives the individual a huge opportunity to learn and develop. If I was ever to define P&G in three words, I would use 'Challenging', 'Speed' and 'Passion for Winning’.
