Hrvoje Skalko

Hrvoje Skalko graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Zagreb.

”I started my career with P&G back in '99 as an Area Account Manager in Croatia, in a team of 5 young managers. From the very first day of my career I experienced challenge, team work and good coaching. During my entire career I do not recall single day of boredom.

After 2 years working in the field I moved to regional HQ in Budapest in Customer Marketing Organization department. There I gained a valuable experience of developing trade plans for launching new brands on the markets and executing initiatives across the trade (being responsible for few countries). After another 2 years I moved back to Croatia and now I am running a sales organization of more than 50 people. I have 8 direct reports and I enjoy training them and helping them to develop and manage their careers. The biggest recognition I can get is to see my team members prosper in their careers and celebrate their successes.

I would always recommend to a young student or candidate to start his business career in P&G because here you have an opportunity to learn from the best as of first day and gain experience from the different fields of business.”
