Full Time External Relations people are strategic business contributors whose role is to ensure a positive external business environment for P&G and our brands. Externally, we work with a wide range of stakeholders, ranging from government officials to NGOs, to understand influential attitudes and opinions, bringing this knowledge into the company to help us make better business decisions. And, we represent the Company’s opinions externally. Working at this interface between the Company and its external stakeholders, External Relations is a vital function at P&G. Our work includes: Corporate Communications, Community Relations, Consumer Relations, Brand Public Relations, Government Relations, Technical External Relations and International Trade Relations. External Relations is a vital function and often the key link in getting the right information out to the right people.

Interns External Relations represent the Company’s opinions externally. At Procter & Gamble, we offer exciting opportunities to be strategic business leaders. Involvement may include developing communications plans, managing issues and providing media relations support for P&G’s brands, advising senior management or developing publicity plans. Responsibilities will include developing relationships with key media and managing a heavy volume of media relations and public relations activities, meeting with government officials, developing PR programs, materials and position statements, as well as developing and managing positions on company and brand issues. External Relations is a vital function and often the key link in getting the right information out to the right people.
