Qaisar Shareef

Background:
I am a US citizen, originally from Pakistan. I was a graduate student in the US and decided to stay here and take advantage of the opportunities that P&G offered.

History:

  • I joined P&G in Cincinnati 24 years ago, where I started in market research.
  • Pursuing my interests, I transferred internally to line marketing.
  • At P&G's invitation, I returned to Pakistan to establish the company there.
  • Next, I moved to the Ukraine to help build P&G business there.
  • Returning to the US in Michigan, I took an unconventional role as a Marketing Director working on a sales team. In a way, I was starting a whole new career and a whole new job with P&G after being with them for 17 yrs. That was a big challenge!
  • I've worked for the past 4 years in global marketing, which allows me to work with people around the world in developing new marketing areas.
