Background:
When I started applying to companies fresh out of college, P&G stood out as the best consumer products company. It has the best go-to-market strategy, the best people managing the business, and the best consumer products. It’s also a great environment to work in, a great place to spend a long-term career. I've always wanted to stay in the San Francisco Bay area, because that's where my family is. Thanks to the size of the company, I've been able to try many different jobs at P&G, getting a wide variety of experiences, while always staying in one place. So P&G has opportunities for everyone.

History:

  • I joined P&G in the San Francisco Bay area 13 years ago. My first assignment was to deal with hotels and restaurants that use the company's commercial service products.
  • Then I moved into retail analysis, examining shelf performance and product performance, and making recommendations to retailers on product management.
  • Next, I became an account manager, specializing in health and beauty care.
  • From there I worked with a top national wholesaler to launch a tier-one pharmaceutical drug by providing retail expertise in a wholesale environment.
  • I subsequently worked with a major grocery chain to manage P&G's baby care products.
  • I currently manage P&G's oral care business in the US, as part of a cross functional team that develops go-to-market strategies for the company's product initiatives.
